Meet Dr. Arnold: Bio
After completing her psychiatry residencies at both the University of Tennessee and Emory University School of Medicine, Dr. Arnold pursued a fellowship in the psychopharmacology of mood disorders in women. During her fellowship, Dr. Arnold was awarded the Lilly Psychiatric Award for excellence in research.
She began her career at Emory University as an Assistant Professor in the departments of Psychiatry and Obstetrics & Gynecology where she also participated in ongoing research projects in the Women’s Mood Disorders Program. Following this, she was the Medical Director of the Psychiatric/Obstetric clinic at Grady Memorial Hospital.
Following the birth of her third child, Dr. Arnold chose to continue her career in the private sector, where she continues to practice today.
Outside of work, Dr. Arnold enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering with organizations focused on feeding hungry children and ending human trafficking.
